【Abstract】 This will be an informal presentation of the "hows" and "whys" of research in the field of Operations Research.  Among other things, we will discuss the questions of "topics", the "research process", and "publication strategies". 

The presentation is intended to generate some discussion.  Come prepared with some of your favorite questions and/or opinions ... and I promise to do the same.
