On December 9th, 2014, Extreme Learning Process Project, led by Dr. Xueyong Gu from Department of Industrial Engineering, Tsinghua University, won the QS STARS REIMAGINE EDUCATION 2016: REGIONAL AWARDS – ASIA and PRESENCE LEARNING Silver Award, in Philadelphia, USA.

　　QS Stars Reimagine Education awards are known as “Oscars” for Higher Education Innovation, aiming to acknowledge and reward innovative initiatives enhancing student learning outcomes & employability globally. The global Reimagine Education competition attracted 427 universities and companies from 56 countries. There were 21 awards (including 6 regional awards). The international panel of judges consisted of 40 experts.
